The Oakland County Assistant Prosecutor obviously thinks 'getting high' with morphine, codeine, or other mind-numbing addictive narcotics is acceptable. But if a patient elects instead to use marijuana with a doctor's recommendation (the news story inaccurately references doctors 'prescribing' marijuana) they should be arrested, prosecuted and locked away into a prison cage for decades.
His closing quote? "We need to put our heads together and figure out our next step."
Seems to me all he needs to do is tell Michigan what he believes. And then he can scratch his head again when 2/3 or more of the voters tell him to pound sand.
The only thing Motor City patients need to fear now is the Ashcroft Justice Dept which if given another four years, will actively seek to prosecute and imprison patients who prefer to use marijuana instead of the expensive, addictive and often ineffective drugs sold by legal pharmacuetical companies.
